If you had the chance to play one of your pieces to the ENTIRE world, what song would you choose?

Breathe Relax & Meditate

 

Where did you find the inspiration for this particular track and what is the meaning behind the song?

I found the inspiration for the song through my own spiritual journey and it was influenced off a previous Poem I had written years before the song was made and when I heard the instrumental the poem came into my mind and I combined the two. My Brother @iamkylebent blessed me with a beautiful feature which made the song even more meaningful. The song's message is self-explanatory, whenever you find yourself in a stressful situation or a difficult situation, “ BREATHE RELAX AND MEDITATE”.

What do you think about the state of the music industry today and how would you like to see it change?

I think the state of Hip Hop is very interesting and it could go in two directions, which would be watered down talent with 808 influenced instrumentals which is where I think it is now, or there could be a huge shift and conscious Hip Hop could make a comeback. My music is meant for the people who want good quality music with a meaningful message. The music industry really needs to decide where it wants to take Hip Hop, whether it be about selling records and giving exposure to untalented artist who have a different sound or artist who are out there trying to influence our generation for the better and awaken our youth.

What is one issue in the world that you would like to see change in your lifetime?

Racism needs to stop, it is 2019 and there are still discussions and debates about racism when it shouldn't have to be that way. We are all one and we have more in common with each other than we think we do. If we all come together and unite as one our country will be in a better state.
