Where in the world are you located?
I’m everywhere.... nah I’m just playing; I'm actually in Albuquerque, New Mexico but I will return home, back to Cali very soon.
What was your favorite past time when you were young?
I was a little bad, so I would get into all kinds of shit. I never really did the same thing, but I was always hanging out with friends just doing what kids do.
What was the very first CD you remember acquiring as a kid?
The very first CD I bought was Ice Cubes ‘Laugh Now, Cry Later’... my grandmother had gave me a little bit of money and she asked me what I wanted. I replied “A CD”. She gave me a catalog and the first CD I came across was by Ice Cube.
What was the first concert or performance you ever attended?
First performance I ever attended was at this club located in Riverside. A rapper known as RJ was performing there. I didn’t stay long; there was a lot of negative energy in there.
Was there a defining moment for you in your childhood that you feel impacted the way you operate in the world today?
Yea.... not necessarily a moment, but a lot of things I went through as a child impacted me. Growing up in poverty, being raised around gang violence, junkies etc. Also, watching my mom struggle and me having to adjust to certain living conditions like having no electricity, water,  or gas sometimes.... all these things kind of mold you into a certain individual. But I’m glad I had to go through it.
At what age did you begin to take music seriously?
i began to take music seriously at the age of 15.
If you had the chance to play one of your pieces to the ENTIRE world, what song would you choose?
I would preform this song Called ‘RELAX’ produced by my homie Ckwnce. It has a turn up vibe to it, but the words have meaning and are very important
Where did you find the inspiration for this particular track and what is the meaning behind the song?
I wrote ‘RELAX’ on the spot during a studio session with my homie, Ckwnce. I was finishing up a project and I had 1 more song to complete. He played the beat and I just started repeating the hook of the song. The inspiration came from the vibe we had in the studio; it was literally in the heat of the moment. The meaning has to do with me going through all this stuff, but during the time you have people who will tell you to relax.... in actuality, I can’t relax because I got all this shit on my mind. I’m just venting my problems on that track.
What do you think about the state of the music industry today and how would you like to see it change?
I feel like music has its cons and pros right now... but mainly it’s a lot of wack shit going on... i definitely appreciate the different sounds we get from music; there’s music for every kind of individual. I would like to see more originality and more people putting together a body of work. I personally feel like I’ll be apart of the change in music.
What is one issue in the world that you would like to see change in your lifetime?
I would like to see more love in the world.... We are living in some dark times; the end of days.. a lot of negativity is going on... I want people to spread love and compliment one another. Love is very powerful and The world will be a better place if we learn to accept the proper concept of love.
What current projects are buzzing and what future projects do we have to look forward to from you?
HiiiGHER LEARNING & STOPDREAMIN’ EP available on every streaming platform....
I can’t give you too much detail about my next project but I will say it’s worth the wait.. I'm ALWAYS working.
Where can we find you on social media?
