Where in the world are you located?As of now, kinda throughout the state of Florida. I am where music takes me. Moving to LA next month.What was your favorite past time when you were young?
Prolly listening to my mini cd collection. I had death row & shady records on lock.
What was the very first CD you remember acquiring as a kid?
D12 Devils Night. I was young af. Like under 10 listening to the unedited version hahaha
What was the first concert or performance you ever attended?Black Stone Cherry. Sum random band this kid & his mom took me to.At what age did you begin to take music seriously?Seriously as a career?Last November. So, 21. When I could really be free from everything.If you had the chance to play one of your pieces to the ENTIRE world, what song would you choose?I have many, many unreleased tracks. Although, we did jus shoot a music video for my song Ooo Death. That’ll be the one!Where did you find the inspiration for this particular track and what is the meaning behind the song?
So, my ex got w this guy. He encourages her to do Xanax & all this extra shit I really wanna get into but this ain’t the write up for it hahaha. The hook is about how I wanna kill this guy. Then, the verse talks about how I ditched one girl & got 60 more haha
What do you think about the state of the music industry today and how would you like to see it change?
A lot of ppl like to complain about how things are. We aren’t grateful for what we have. We do have things like SoundCloud. I could upload my whole catalog & it will be live on there in 15 mins. Yea, everybody wanna be a rapper. There’s only one of you. Only you can convey yur emotions. Nowadays the industry takes plotting, patience, & sheer grit. You don’t give up if you really want it. I just wanna sleep in a bed hahaha
What is one issue in the world that you would like to see change in your lifetime?
Racism. I’m mixed, mulatto. Moms white, dads black. I’m not gonna go all Logic about it but, yea. Even Earl said he was “too white for the black kids & too black for the whites”. It fuels a lot of hate speech. Technically I don’t even believe in the government. I ignore a lot of things that bother people.
What current projects are buzzing and what future projects do we have to look forward to from you?I uploaded a single w Black Smurf which I feel is really cool. Ppl are fw it. I also have a video we finished filming last nite at our performance w Lil Wop otw. Death Squad has a few projects otw in which I am a part of. Is there anything else you would like the world to know about you?
I’m a member of the Tampa collective Death Squad April 28th, we’re booked in Brooklyn w IdontknowJeffery & Slug Christ. I’m heading to LA the month of June to get settled in. We jus got off the last leg of the Lil Wop & Chxpo tour. Expect the Ooo Death video by the start of May. Much work otw. We have about 200 songs collectively unreleased. Also we have music videos in the vault now too. DEATH SQUAD!
